Do not under any circumstances hire this guy to do anything. I took my vehicle in over 5 weeks ago to have the transmission rebuilt. Jim Stuard told me it would be ready the next week. It was not ready when he promised. He strung me along for weeks. I called him one day and asked him if the transmission had been rebuilt. He told me that it had. Later in the week I went to his shop and asked him where the tranmission was. He pointed to the disassembled transmission laying on the bench in front of him. He said, "" this is the only half-truth I have told you."" What I have learned from Jim Stuard is that you can know is lying when his lips are moving. Over 5 weeks have elapsed since I took my vehicle in and he will not return my calls. I did business with this shop when his dad owned it and that was a good experience. If you want your transmission removed and disassembled then by all means take your vehicle to him. Just remember that is all he does. If you want your transmission rebuilt and the reinstalled you will have to have it towed to a shop that actually does transmission rebuilds and actually puts them back into your vehicle.
