My husband and I went here this past Saturday night. Every other restaurant in Hackettstown was packed so we decided to go here. I have been her in the past and didn't think it was bad. Well I felt as if my money was taken right out of my pocket, ROBBED!! The salad was good, the pasta fagioli was good besides the crunchy weird overcooked things floating around. My husband liked the french onion soup. For our entree I picked chicken francese, huge portion of tasteless food. My husband picked stuffed calamari which was blah. The portions were ridiculously large but the worst part about it they were terrible!! The service???? I would have been happier getting the food myself. The boy who waited on us never checked on us and was too busy texting to do anything!! This kid was rude to my husband when he approached him about his lack of concern and also told him the food sucked. He did nothing to try to fix the situation. He must be a relative who else would be that rude and last anywhere? We paid our bill and left. No one seemed to care about the service and making sure we were happy. It seemed as if the owners gave up on their restaurant. It wasn't packed, there was no rush, there was no excuse. That waiter with the initial name, stop texting or bus the tables!!!! Oh the bus boy was nice I should have given our waiters tip to him. I find it hard to believe that this was an off night, there was no excuse. I have never written a review before but have never been so unhappy with a restaraunt. I was to mad to complain it seemed as if no one would care anyway! I had to share this experience because it was THAT bad!
