I was thoroughly impressed with this restaurant. I travel frequently and find myself in big city ""favorites"" all too often. My recent trip to the Detroit area ranks high on my list of ""places to remember"" because of my dining experience at Mackinnon's. My business group was greatly warmly by the hostess and we were sitted right next to picture window. The service that followed was excellent, as they recommended a bottle of wine that perfectly complimented the filet mignon!
This was one of the tenderest steaks I have ever had! The meal was completed by the famous ""Chocolate Creation"". After reading the management comment, I was surprised they were talking about the same restaurant. The Chef and General Manager personally came to our table to see how everything was. It is a ""must visit restaurant"" You won't be disappointed!
