Review content:
We were under the impression that this was the chain restaurant Claim Jumper, we were wrong! Once we were seated we discussed going elsewhere since it was not what we had anticipated, but the western themed decor and the interesting menus (printed on the back of a wine bottle) seemed promising so we stayed. The fact that there were only 3 other groups of diners in there at 8pm on a Saturday night should have been a huge tip off that something wasn't right.\r \r My husband ordered the potato skins to start. They weren't skins they were wedges, which tasted like the previous nights baked potatoes that had been saved and cut up for the apetizer. The wedges were chewy, nearly tasteless, and dry. The tossed salad that came with our meal with drenched with their house dressing, a la Olive Garden (no choice) only sweeter, and tossed at the table. There was so much dressing that it was more like a really thick soup thank a salad. The staff was unfriendly and seemed impatient. The entrees were mostly around $20 range and definitely NOT worth it. I ordered the rib eye, it had a good flavor and was cooked as I asked (medium rare) but it was the chewiest steak I've ever eaten, the baked potato that was the only side that came with it was OK. My husband ordered the baseball steak (a center cut sirloin that was about 3 inches thick) and it was overdone on the outside and completely rare on the inside. His side was fries and they were really thick hand cut home style steak fries that were cold and rubbery.\r \r We didn't even bother asking for a dessert menu after the lousy meal. I will never eat here again.\r \r Pros: Plenty of parking, quaint western ambience, large portions. Cons: Slow, rude service. Poor quality/overpriced food.
