Review content:
The food may be great or it may be mediocre, but I will never know. My husband and I went to Tsunami almost two hours before a movie we were planning to see was scheduled to begin. When the host asked if a table was okay with us, we expressed a preference for another table that was beside the window. We then waited nearly 20 minutes for a waitress to greet us. When our waitress finally did come to take our order, she was very accomodating and comped us an edamame appetizer. Her friendliness and accomodation made us willing to look past what had been an error on the part of the host. My husband and I ordered the tempura vegetables (good but ridiculously small portion for the price -- there is little expense involved in tempura vegetables, and small does not always equate with chic) and a sake sampler. We ordered three sushi rolls for our main course. Our drinks were slow to be delivered, but I thought the vegetables were timely. However, after waiting an hour and twenty minutes from the time we were first sat at our table for our sushi, my husband and I realized that we would not have time to enjoy our pricey meal if we were to make the showtime for the movie we were planning to see. We left $7 for the price of the sake sampler, took our coats and left. I have *never* walked out of a restaurant before; we are generally eager to see the best in a waitress/restaurant. However, there is no redeeming such ridiculously slow service. Pros: Nice Atmosphere Cons: Slow Service, Small Portions
