iFreedom did pretty well for me up to the point where ""streamlining"" came in. I was given the distinct impression that after 6 months of payments, I could lower my interest rate that I got with iFreedom to a lower rate with no issues and for FREE. Well, it turns out that after those 6 months, the VA has to perform an appraisal AGAIN, and if you are one of those people that no longer has equity, and the appraisal is under, say goodbye to streamlining. Plus, you have to pay the VA 0.5% AGAIN, and none of this was disclosed to me properly at the get-go. If I had known this, I probably would have paid down a point at the start. I was happy with iFreedom, but after this, I have to give them 2 stars. Scott in Chico
