My stylist, Pam Baker, not only has an incredible sense of style, but more significantly, boasts a strong work ethic while providing an unparalleled product. I moved to LA two years ago and by recommendation was drawn to Oasis. Needless to say, I?ve never had to try out a new hairdresser. Generally, I only come in every couple of months for a perm, blow-dry and trim. While my visits are relatively infrequent, I?ve always left very pleased! On the service front, I?m in and out -- my appointments start punctually and she doesn?t overbook. As far as the outcome of my hair, it?s always growing and I?m amazed at how distinctive she makes my hair look and feel ? soft and silky ? plus my friends / colleagues tend to take notice as well after I pay Pam a visit. Recently, I went bold with something new for the summer and cut off my hair (for the very first time). I?ve had long hair all my life, so cutting 5 to 6 inches off was a major step for me. Thankfully, all I did was show Pam a picture of what I wanted, and with her keen eye for style and high-quality skillset, she just hooked me up from there. The last few weeks since my cut, I?ve been flowered with compliments on my new, refreshed do. Pam and the other stylists are consummate professionals, keep the salon clean and make a concerted effort to make customers feel comfortable (I can count on being able to flip through the latest Vibe or Jet?and they have stocked subscriptions to pretty much every other popular magazine). In a nutshell, Pam does a fantastic job and I?d definitely recommend her to anyone. On a side note, parking near Oasis is decent too.
