When you are thinking what to do on an early Wednesday night or Saturday morning, you should just get in your car and go to the Farmers Market. Produce and home cooked and baked good adorn the long row of farmers and small businesses.
This is Davis, so you get the small town goods and service like you would expect at a farmer's market. Although there may be a larger variety of goods at the Sacramento Farmer's Market, the Davis Farmer's Market maintains that ""straight from the farmer's fields to you mouth"" experience. If you have kids, the Davis market will entertain them all with tastes of all the fruit, balloon animals, ($1) kettle corn made in a witch's cauldron and a fountain to keep them cool in the summer.
