BEWARE OF RENTING VIDEOS AT FOOD CITY\r Check out a free-to-borrow kids video worth around $10, return it, receive a letter that you did not return it. Go to the store to find out how much they say it costs to replace. No one knows how much to replace. Return later and still nobody knows how much to replace ""Elmo in Springtime."" Call to find out when the right person is in the store. They tell you it costs just under $10 but you must pay the escalating fines first. Call the store manager who promises to get back with you. Receive a letter that says you now owe $34.95 for that $10 video and you must pay the still growing fines of $30+. Respond in 7 days or you will be brought to court and must pay all legal costs.\r This sure feels like a loan sharking operation. I am seeking arbitration (over a $10 kids free-to-rent video that threatens to costs over $100 or more). Pros: overwhelmed by cons Cons: Lost videos (by you or them) have no caps on the costs ($10 kids video, pay $70+)
