Review content:
This is my daughter's second year at ESD. Last year was great with Miss Margaret teaching the ballet class. She is knowledgable about HOW to teach dance. This year my daughter is taking 4 classes and hates all 3 ballet classes. The teachers no doubt have dance talent but they CANNOT or choose not to teach anything to the students. The beginning point class was cancelled after only three students remained (because of the terrible teachers) and they were thrown in to the intermediate/advanced class. Needless to say none of them are being taught and have yet to be evaluated for point shoes. They are stand-ins for any absent students while the advanced class works on their dance for the recital. And I am still expected to pay full tuition for my child to learn nothing and be frustrated. Better yet- this class is taught by the owner!! The costumes and the dance chosen for another class is humiliating to say the least. This class of teenage girls are show ponies and dance the same thing you would expect to see from a group of 7 year olds. They are all embarrassed to be doing this dance, but they teacher told them that they weren't capable of doing anything else. That must be because SHE DOESN""T TEACH THEM ANYTHING!! Don't waste your money.. We are gone after this year.
