Review content:
I have had several events concocted by this company. Up until this past year, we got wonderful reviews from most of our guests. Now the reviews are completely embarrassing. While I was wondering why the liquor wasn't displayed, I made a little jaunt behind one of our bars to find the liquor was being consumed by the bartender. My wife was ""trying"" to enjoy her usual Chardonnay, but it tasted quite strange, so we thought the wine was bad. We questioned a staff member who poured the open bottles out. Then they opened a new bottle from their reserves. My wife tasted it, and it was wonderful. Not 30 minutes later, she gets another awful glass of wine. This time I decided to pursue the matter a little further. I walked up to the bar to see the bartender seriously diluting the wine with Perrier. I was disgusted and decided it was time to talk to the event manager in charge...who was no where to be found for about an hour. When I did catch up with her, she noted that this was common practice among catered events, which is not acceptable at my event. The food was on the buffet hours before dinner, so I already half expected it to be cold...not only was it cold, it was very much undercooked. After speaking with a staff member, I found out that the chef was fired recently. I stewed all weekend over the matter. On Tuesday morning, I get a call from the event planner. She is just raving about how beautiful my event was and how it went off without a hitch. I had to ask her if she was at the same event as I. Her response was that she had to leave early to visit another site. Then the bill comes... Keep in mind that I have done much business with this company in the past and never been so overwhelmed by a single bill. They had increased the price of the rentals by $2000!!! Apparently, this was for items that they couldn't recover after the event. How is that my fault! I'll be calling Swift next time. I've heard great things about them. Pros: The staff had a great time at my expense. Cons: Cold, undercooked food; Intoxicated Staff; Read Below....
