Well, I thought if I could do my own highlights, surely a beauty student under supervision could do 'em better. I was dead wrong. The girl was sweet as can be and took her time trying to do her best. Unfortunately, she didn't have great technique and I walked out with stripes at my ROOTS and blotches of orange all over. That was after three hours and a ""fix"".
The worst part of the whole experience was that I never saw her teacher in that whole three hours - not ONCE, even when she went to the back to get advice on how to fix it.
So, I ended up with a cheap highlight that fried my hair and looked horrid. I went back to my regular salon and will never make that mistake again.
