My son goes to school in Buffalo, NY, and called me saying his check engine light, ABS light and Brake lights were all on, and that his car would not idle. I'm 445 miles away, and needed to help this kid get his car fixed. So I started searching online, and after ruling out numerous shops in Buffalo for various reasons came across All Automotive Service. From the first phone call I liked these guys. The picture of the shop online was of a clean building with multiple bays and a parking lot full of cars, which to me, means they're busy, which means that other people think they're a good shop too. I called and spoke with a gentleman who listed to my whole story, and said bring it in and they would take a look. Now he could have told me any myriad of thing were wrong, but he didn't. The diagnosis came back with some relatively simple fixes which turned off all the engine lights. As for the stalling/not idling issue, they charged me per hour diagnosis fee, and discovered another easy fix. I spoke directly with the mechanic while they were diagnosing the problem a couple of times. Being that I'm out of state, and a female, it would have been very easy for them to take advantage of the situation, and charge for repairs that weren't made or didn't need to be done, and they didn't do any either. They are a very upstanding, scrupulous shop, run my trustworthy, honest mechanics. I feel very fortunate to know that for the next 3 years we have a great auto mechanic to take my sons car to, if needed. I highly recommend All Automotive Service, for an honest diagnosis and quality repairs.
