On our trip to San Antonio, we were not planning on going to Hard Rock because we didn't want to go to any chains. We wanted to try local gourmet food, but we decided to stop into Hard Rock for some drinks one night on the Riverwalk before going back to the hotel and I'm glad we did! This is one of the most entertaining and energetic Hard Rock locations I've been to and the staff is really just fantastic. The Sex on the Beach is the best anywhere. Hard Rock food is typical American food with some very creative dishes thrown in the mix, but if you're in the mood for some casual food in a great atmosphere it will really hit the spot......***Update***: The Hard Rock Cafe chain has changed their Sex on the Beach drink recipe so now you need to ask the bartender to make the drink the old way. Most will gladly oblige (many aren't happy with the new change themselves!). Otherwise you will get a fruity watered down generic version. And the Wings Around the World were ripped off of the menu too...yep...bummer!
