There are so many variables N.Y. city has over you. One is food. We know good food and are light years ahead of anything up there. You people think Olive garden,Macaroni Grill,Fridays are good, please.\r

Culture and education needed badly.\r

Tried many up there and only a couple I like. depending on cuisine and decor,etc. My two favorites are Cafe Capricio and Villa Valenti. They are very different but the same in the ingredient area. They offer the best Albany has to offer. Been to your more expensive(though Capricio up there) but none our better than these two. Luckily your population is small , so you do not need more than two places I guess:)
