Review content:
I recently hired Taste to cater a lunch gathering that followed a memorial service for my mother-in-law. The company was supposed to set up a buffet at my father-in-law's home before the guests arrived. Taste showed up over an hour late to set up. Our guests had to help carry heavy dishes and trays inside (Taste only sent one employee to our event). Taste was supposed to bring ice, but didn't, so a friend and I had to run out and get some. Guests were arriving, but the family wasn't available to greet them.
Eventually, everything was set up and the woman from Taste left, saying someone would be back at 4:30pm to pick everything up. When things finally seemed to be under control, guests began noticing that many of the plates and coffee cups were dirty -- REALLY dirty! In addition, the "Caesar salad" we ordered consisted of nothing but dry lettuce! Also, the clean silverware was just piled in a gray, plastic, cafeteria-style bin that sat on our dining room table; this display choice raised a number of eyebrows.
