Review content:
I contracted Basic Moving to move me from New York to North Carolina. From begiinning to end this move was handled very professionally. John came and gave me an estimate and assured me that the price would not exceed what was on the contract. Not only did the price not exceed the estimate, but I was called and told that I was due a $400 refund because my things weighted less than estimated.The men who packed my things in New York were very friendly and handled my things carefully. Grace, the secretary was great, she kept me informed about my move the entire time. My things arrived in North Carolina on time. I have not unpacked everything yet but so far everything seems to be in good condition. The driver, Boris was so accomodating and never once got frustrated when I kept changing my mind about what rooms I wanted my stuff put in. I will be moving again shortly,this time local, and the first call I will make is to Basic Moving. Moving is a very stressful process but if you want to have one less thing to worry about use this company you won't regret it.
