I have always felt that my pets received excellent care here. All of the staff has always been helpful and polite as well. It's when things are tough that you realize what you are dealing with. The night of the Bastrop wildfires, I had no idea where I would take my 2 large dogs and my bird. At 8:30 pm, I pulled in to see the lights were still on at Crossroads. I opened the door to see crates wall to wall of animals that had been left there. They took my pets in too. I stopped in several times to walk the dogs and they were always so nice to me. I know they couldn't be taking in their normal appointments because there was no place to do it. I'm sure this was a financial burden as they also were feeding all the pets. They did not ask for payment or donations for boarding all these pets. Wow, what a way to give back to the community when we needed it most. Crossroads, you rock!
