Last week, I had my annual check-up at Emory, and just had the once over, and it was 2:30 in the afternoon, and I was starved. So I headed to nearby Emory Villiage, and thought Everybody's Pizza, it's my usual stop, when I go to the doctor. But I saw this cute little building nearby, that said Saba. Read the menu posted in the window, sounded good, but no one was inside. Well it was late in the afternoon, and you know what they say about an empty restaurant. Boy was I wrong. Placed my order at the counter, Linguini w/Red Clam Sauce, knowing it was just going to be so-so. Also ordered a wonderful Argula Salad w/xtra Virgin Olive Oil, Lemon, and Gana Padano Cheese. To die for, and a side of freshly baked Cibatta Bread. And ending the salad, my entree arrives, with the most wonderful aroma. And oh yes, it was fresh clams in a terrific red sauce with whole cloves of garlic. That had to be one of the best luncheon suprises in ages. Now when is my next doctor's appointment? I don't need another doctors's appointment, since they have a new location also on the Square in Decatur! I meant for this review to be the Emory location, that's ok, it's all the same. Love this place! Pros: Delicious Lunch of Linguini w/Red Clam Sauce! Very Restful & Wonderful! Cons: Not Near My Home!
