I have trusted her for many years now. She is always willing to be challenged as to the reason and alternatives for her advice, and does not take it personally. She is my absolute lifetime favorite medical professional. The appointment process is cumbersome at best and when you arrive at the office, the person at the desk might be too busy flirting with medical supply vendors to check you in - this is only true of the shared office staff, not the nurses. But, I put up with it because I love Dr. Schlechter. I choose my insurance plans based upon what she will accept. Not having her as an option is a deal breaker.
Pros: Smart, smart, smart, kind, willing to think outside the box
Cons: sometimes difficult, unprofessional & rude office staff
