I want to comment on an embarassing comment that was made to me about our subdivision-the person making the comment did not know I lived there...he said that he was in Oakwood Glen recently and could not believe how down hill it has gone in the last few years. I stopped to think about it, and he is definitely right. As a matter of fact, we have many properties up for sale that can't sell because of their condition, and I have a neighbor across the street whose grass is literally knee high. The entrance has a home one block in that has 6 huge commercial vans parked there at all times. Broken down vehicles are everywhere, and the back park is in terrible shape. The back entrance is simply disgusting. So I ask, what is our HOA dues used for exactly? We changed our patrol to the Sheriff dept and that is the last improvement I have personally noticed.
