This apt community managed by Weidner Investment is the worst apt living experience of my life (and 90% of the other residents there). Moving in from out of state, we set everything up over the phone, fax and email. Plus we were told the day of, while still on the road with the U-Haul, that everything was ready for us to move in when we would be getting in around 11 PM that night (the door was to be unlocked and a key left in a safe place). So it was an unpleasant surprise that the door was locked. Ok, simple mistake, probably done out of habit. Still not happy but at least it was excusable. So we have to call the on-call maintenance person. When he opened the door, we all noticed that the apt had not been touched since the last people moved out. Walls, carpet, counters, bathroom were all dirty. Again, we were told by the property manager, not only weeks before we moved but also the day of, that everything was ready for move in. The maintenance person wouldn't let us stay in there that night so we got to sleep one more night in the cab of the U-Haul with our pets. The next day we got all the standard excuses and finger pointing that we figured we would from both the manager and Weidner. Thankfully we made it a year and then we moved. I would suggest visiting the residents there to get more horror stories before you ever consider moving into any Weidner property. I don't know why they have Guantanamo Bay when Foster Greens is much closer. Pros: Between 405 and 5 Cons: Lack of professionalism, bad attitude, no respect, extreme penny pinching, not dependability, not trustworthy
