My friend called this company to have oil delivered to her home. She is a single mom and works very hard to take care of her kids. We have worked for the same company for a couple of years so I know her character. This was the second time she called this company for oil, so when they asked her if she had an account with them she said yes. If you look this company up in the yellow pages, they state they have a net 10 payment program for people with an account. The first time she called them they asked her how she would like to pay. This time they didn't. On the day of delivery, she received a phone call from the service tech and he told her that her delivery was COD. When she explained that no one had explained that to her and that she had planned on getting a bill and paying it the following Friday, he told her she had to call the main office. I don't know the name of the man that answered the phone at the office, but he really should enroll in a customer service training class. He told my friend that while there may have been a misunderstanding regarding payment options, he needed to be paid in full that same day. My friend offered to give him her debit card account number and a partial payment immediately, and said she would pay the balance the following Friday when she was paid. His comment to her was that it wasn't his fault she couldn't afford to pay the bill and he HUNG UP on her. (it was said sarcastically) My friend was able to acquire a cash advance at work and called him back in less than 10 minutes. She explained to him that she was able to obtain the full payment and would he please put the oil in her tank as she was on ""E"". His response was that the truck left and he couldn't deliver until Friday which was two days later. This person was rude, inconsiderate and very unprofessional. I was shocked and appalled by his response and behavior.
