Review content:
I ordered my wedding cake from Mani's for my Dec. 2006 wedding. I met with a friendly and very helpful cake chef and thought everything was set. I went the night before the wedding to pick up my cake. Instead of the elegant and simple vanilla icing cake I had ordered, they gave me a cake with chocolate icing that was drowning in hideous white and brown chocolate shavings. The service people were so busy and inexperienced, they just went about their business after I told them it was the wrong cake. After a long while one of the workers offered a pathetic apology and an even more pathetic 50% discount. I shouldn't have paid a cent and at least one of the service people could have stopped running around and tried to figure out what could be done to remedy the situation-- but they didn't.
Pros: healthy
Cons: tasteless
