The first time I went here was on my first date with my boyfriend. I'd always liked Indian, but I tended to stick to buffets, and dishes with chicken. I wanted to be more adventurous, but I was scared. I made my date a promise, that I would eat what he recommended, as long as we also got my old standby, chicken tikka masala. He ordered a dish with lamb, and after I made him promise not to tell mary on me (mary had a little lamb...get it?) i tried it, and the dish was wonderful! Totally not what I was expecting. I was very pleased with everything we had for dinner that night. The restaurant has since become a bi-weekly staple of ours for lunch. It has a great buffet, although it's always a bonus when they have all my faves (whose names i will totally mess up, so i won't even attempt...other than gulab jamon, which is the best dessert)(also, i think it's saag paneer-spinach with chunks of cheese in it....yummy.) It is a little out of the way, especailly considering there are 2 places right next door to each other on snowden, but that fact is also a positive....i've never seen bombay crowded. I will admit that it can sometimes take a little while to get your check, which is not a problem if you can take a long lunch, but it is annoying if you're in a hurry. I don't know the name of the woman that is normally there to seat and check in on you, but she is awesome!!! One day there was no chicken in the chicken tikka masala, and she brought some out to me right from the kitchen. I love that they bring the naan to the table, but it does occasionally take a while to get there. All in all, I love this place, and they also have a frequent diner program, which we've already saved $15 dollars with. Pros: ambience...food...parking Cons: service can be slow at times
