I had a nightmare with these people : lousy customer service, delayed turn around time, amateur work quality, never returned any phone calls, they sat on my car for over a week before working on it, was basically lied to, and more...... Let me first say that I went to the location down south in 2005 for a repair, and they did a pretty good job to my satisfaction. No complaints there. Then, someone sideswiped me in 2008, and now living up North, I decided to take it back and go to the one on McNeil. This time, it was the other person's insurance paying for it. I got a check from them and took my car in. After about a week, I called them to see about any progress, and I was surprised that I had yet to receive any phone call from them. I was told that they were still working with Germania insurance since the amount that was quoted was about a $600 or so too low. So, they hadn't even started work on my car, a week into having it, and I had no rental car! I couldn't believe it. She reassured me that they would fight to get more money and get it ASAP, and I also had a loud sound with my wheel since they hit near it, and she said she would certainly check it out and fight to get money for that repair too. I felt reassurred, but this would prove to be a lie basically. Again, they never called me with an update, so I called a week later. They said it would be ready about 18 or so days from the day I first brought it in. So, I called on the day that it was due to be ready, and they said that it was most likely not going to be ready on time. Still car-less after 2.5 weeks, I was pissed. I had been totally nice up until that point, but I let them know how unsatisfied I was that it sat there for over a week until they even began work on it, and now it won't be ready. They ended up having it ready on time, but then I drove off the lot (after paying them almost $4000), and my car immediately was making the wheel noise, so I called them when I got home to ask if they found anything wrong with it. They said it was fine, even though it was still making that loud noise. I got the feeling that they never looked at it. Then, I find that the door they replaced (with salvage by the way, not even a new door) would not lock!!! So, I drove up there and complained that the door won't even lock , and frankly looks slightly uneven too. They said they didn't have the part for the lock and would call me when it arrived...... 2 or 3 weeks passed and no call. So, my fiancee actually called up there (I'm kind of a pushover with businesses treating me like crap). They had no good explanation but said they would call her and me when the part arrived.WE NEVER RECEIVED THE CALL. And my rear passenger door to this day won't even lock . I was so fed up that I preferred not even to deal with them anymore and recover my losses..... To sum it up: - They never ONCE called me back on any occasion and no call for over a week after first bringing it in. - The girl working reception appears to be a family member with no customer service skills (like she's being forced to work there). - My replaced door was put on crooked and the lock doesn't work - They had my car for over a week and still hadn't begun working on it (keep in mind that I had over $3000 ready to pay them and insurance was only covering the additional $600 or so, and yet this place wouldn't even start on my car until they guaranteed that additional money) - They tried to keep it longer than promised until I threw a fit. - They promised they would check out my wheel, but never did - Even after calling them back about never hearing from them about the part for my door lock, THEY STILL DROPPED THE BALL and my door still doesn't lock. . HORRIBLE , HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE BEWARE. Pros: none! Cons: lousy communication, poor work quality, the list goes on
