Its tanning season again hooray! I'd like to take a minute of your time and introduce myself and my staff and to give some helpful information. We are a family owned and operated salon for 15 yrs and we are the longest running tanning salon in Rock Hill S.C. My name is Corrie and I am the owner on staff are my son Justice, Zack (our fashion student) and Emily (our tattoo artist). Oh and also our resident Carolina Tan greeter Lulu our labradoodle. We welcome you to our relaxing fun family friendly sometimes off the wall group. We strive to give you the best tanning experience possible.
We recently remodeled the salon so the tropical theme is no more but it has been replaced with a sleek look and more beds to cut down on the wait in the busy tanning season. We look forward to you stopping by and meeting us.
We stock all the major brands of tanning lotion and we promise we beat the competitors prices. With all of our unlimited packages you get a additional 25% off lotions making the prices affordable being a mom of 3 boys I understand in todays economy the dollar has to stretch farther than before so both our tanning package prices and lotions are marked to accommodate every tanner. Don't buy products from Walmart for indoor tanning they are not allowed in any indoor tanning bed. Here are a few reasons why you cant use just any tanning product in our beds. The beds are made of acrylic and acrylics are porous when a oil product is used in a indoor bed it clogs the pores and can not be cleaned off for the next customer leaving a oil residue on the bed and also prevents the UV light from tanning the customer and over time the acrylic will dry and break. Also for the customer these tanning products that contain oil dry the skin and does not have the necessary moisturizers bronzers that will nourish the skin durning and after tanning. The tanning products sold in a salon are formulated to achieve a healthy tan in less time while protecting the skin and are intended to be worn on the skin for 4 hours after tanning these products continue to work long past your tanning session.
All of our beds are cleaned with a hospital grade disinfectant and anyone who knows about indoor acrylics knows that other products cannot be used on acrylics that contain alcohol or ammonia due to the fact that it wouldn't kill all the germs and would also dry the porous acrylic out and result in it cracking. The hospital grade disinfectant while it does kill 99% of all germs that are bad it can also kill good cells on peoples skin which can cause a allergy in some people that will experience a mild rash on skin that come in contact with it. But there is a simple solution to anyone that does have this experience whether you tan with us or somewhere else simply take a wet towel and re-wipe the bed to wipe away the disinfectant. The disinfectant is a must for cleaning the bed for safety.
