One star, should be zero, for the worst haircut I've ever received....and one of the more expensive ones at that. I went into my haircut with a one-length, just-past-the-shoulder haircut that I loved. I had a deep conditioning treatment and asked for a trim of about an inch to tidy up the dead ends. The stylist asked me if she could put some ""light layers"" in and I very, very stupidly agreed and let her go to work (I've usually had at least decent luck with stylist suggestions in my life, and never had a genuinely bad outcome)... I came out looking like my hair had been to the butcher. She hid it pretty well while I was in the chair and I thought it would be an average haircut, but by the time I got to my car I discovered I now had layers that were as short as one inch in places (yes, I measured when I got home.... this was shoulder-length hair before). I can no longer wear my hair straight at all without looking like a scarecrow, and am stuck spending nearly 30 minutes a day curling my hair to hide these horrible layers. There's no telling how many months it will take before my hair will be presentable again.... but I can tell you for sure I'll never go back to Regis and I'll warn everyone away from it I can. It takes ""bad haircut"" to a whole new level... as every one of my officemates can attest to. If you love your hair, stay away from this place.
