Review content:
My fiance and I were in town for just a few days...and before we left we HAD to have some good New York style pizza. The hotel concierge recommended Lombardi's, so we jumped on a subway down to little Italy. Unfortunately, the line at Lombardi's was unreal...and at 20 degrees...we just wanted to sit down inside somewhere and eat. We went to Pomodoro's which was one block over and was seated almost immediately. We ordered hot wings and a large pizza. They brought us regular wings with hot sauce sprinkled over them and the carrots were drenched in hot sauce also (who eats carrots w/ hot sauce???). The pizza was not good at all...so we didnt even bother taking the five slices we had left over. By the time we left we understood why everyone was stuffed in Lombardi's and Pomodoro's was only moderatly busy. We have had better New York style pizza in Atlanta, Georgia. We will never go back. . Pros: slices are big Cons: pizza is not good; service was not good
