Review content:
One day after about a month of my son's birth, my wife and I (i'm white, my wife is not) walked into Little Lords, Little Ladies and were immediately helped, albeit with a rather snippy mature-aged woman. We live in the neighborhood and find all other shops rather considerate of all races. We spoke for a couple of minutes and the woman said to come back at a later time, which we took as a good suggestion being that our son's Christening wasn't for another two months and he would have grown significantly by then. We appreciated her concern. About a month later (son now two months) my wife went in again with my son in-hand and my mother-in-law and waited for about ten minutes before feeling that they had to leave the store due to racism. The reason I feel it was due to racism was for the simple fact that they were told to wait for assistance, not to touch anything, and to stay away from the ""platform"" which I can understand because the ""platform"" was a rickity step shabbily thrown together and obviously kept in disrepair. On top of this, my wife and mother-in-law not only had to wait for service but had to wait for four more people who came in after them to be waited on, finally my wife had enough and just left. While she waited on an associate to help her - being that there were two helping one customer - one of the associates said to the other, ""go help them."" My wife felt that they were talking about her, while in fact the associate passed her by and helped the fourth customer that entered the store. Upon leaving, nobody acknowledged her... In fact the associate closest to her made it a point not to acknowledge her. Pros: NONE - Store across street are exactly same and cheaper Cons: If they don't like you, they won't help you
