Review content:
I recently went to see Dr. White for what I thought was just a long-lasting sore throat causing hoarseness. I have always been very healthy and was reluctant to see a doctor for such a simple matter, but my wife insisted, so I did. When he came into the room I immediately told him what my problem was and asked him to prescribe some antibiotics. He said: ""maybe, but let's take a look"". After a detailed examination and a long list of questions that were driving me nuts, as I thought they were unrelated to my problem, he told me he suspected I had a growth on my vocal chords and sent me for laringoscopy. It turns out I had a polyp on my right vocal chord. Now it has been removed and I'm fine. I'm so glad Dr. White resisted the quick fix of an antibiotic and did a thorough history!
