Review content:
Progressive Insurance recommends this place and says they guarantee the work there. That's why I went there to fix damage to my car. I should have gone elsewhere. This place didn't update me regarding when the car would be ready (it was up to me to call and find out). I was just happy to get my car back, so I didn't make a fuss. They had me pay before they even showed me the car. I thought this was odd, but paid them before they brought the car around. After picking up my car, I noticed that there was very slight damage to a part of the car that was in perfect condition when I brought it in. It looks like a piece of machinery bumped into it. I notified both the insurance (Progressive) and the body shop about the damage. But the body shop won't fix it because they say the damage may have been there originally. I asked the insurance company and body shop to look at initial photos of the car when I brought it in for the estimates and such, but they say that may not prove anything. Strange that they don't consider their own photos-- pictures they took-- to be reliable. Anyway, I never initialed or acknowledged that there was damage on that part of the car. Usually a place will have you initial and then give you a copy. This place doesn't give you a copy of anything except for the receipt. Unfortunately, First Class Auto Body is more like Last Class Auto Body. They fix things okay, but their customer service leaves a lot to be desired. Expect the guys there to talk about you in Armenian (which for some reason they assume only Armenians will understand). The Progressive employees that hang around in the office aren't much better-- just as rude if they want to be. From what I've gathered from reviews, it's not the first time they've messed something up on a car. I have had only one other experience with an auto body shop, but it was so different (much better) than this one. Since Progressive likes to push this body shop on their customers, I think I may be switching insurance. What an absolute headache.
