Review content:
Looks can be deceiving. The apartment looks new and updated outside, but you can't believe how bad the construction quality is until you move in. Noise is outrageous. Worst of all, the staff here are and unprofessional. They'll charge you everything, from maintenance cost to outrageous late fees. After I moved out, they sent me a bill asking me to pay for carpet replacement cost. They claimed that there were stains in the carpet and they have to replace it. The carpet was close to the end of its life (5 years old) and very worn out. They could clean it if there were stains. However they replaced it without talking to me, and then expected me to pay the cost. While I was still trying to talk with them about the charge, they forwarded the bill to debt collection. I have a perfect credit score of more than 800, and now there is a collection account appearing in my credit report. Don't ever move in Elms.
