Buyer beware if you need your car serviced by a chevy place. I would not recommend taking it here unless you want to pay more than what other dealers will charge you. I recently took my car in for service and although I had an appointment at 8am, I never received a call until 2:45pm that day. They then stated that it would take 2 1/2 hours to repair my vehicle. I told them I was a little preterbed that they are calling me for the first time so late in the day and that I had an appointment at 8am. He stated that it didn't matter that I had an appointment and that appointments only mean that your car will get looked at. And with it being 2:45, that pretty much meant that my car wouldn't get repaired that day. I then contacted several other chevy dealerships to which they told me it would it would only take slightly over 1 hour to repair. With a labor rate of $100 per hour, you do the math. Worst yet is I contacted the service manager twice and left a message and received no return call. I also filled out a Chevy survey to which I stated I would like the manager to call me and he never did. Do yourself a favor..Take your car to a place like Pep boys to where they only took 1 hour to install the part and their overall price was 1/3 the price Jim Reed wanted to charge.
