Review content:
My child was seen by a few speech therapist at DA King and Asso., One was not being careful and my child was hurt. Ms. King set up many different evals that were not needed. She keep on telling us that she had the staff to work with a child that had certain needs. She made promises that did not come true. There are some good staff there, but they are busy, so you might get put with someone that is not the right fit for you. Be careful as to what is set up for you too. keep track of the time of services too. We had one person that spent less then a half an hour, but billed a full 30 minutes on our insurance. She was always late, so we had to sit for a long time. When ms. King felt that it would be too costly to treat our son, after being told they could, she just sent an e-mail with limited reasons why. The office staff does a lot of calling to get aprovals in an open area. Which means the give out ss numbers to those in the waiting room. If you are on medicaid, everyone in the waiting area will hear. Pros: Easy parking Cons: Poor quality and lacks compassion
