I did some research on free or reduced price places that cut hair for Locks of Love and came across DeKwa. I called and made and appointment with Kyle (the one who does the LoL cuts). I was nervous going in because it had been years since I have had short hair, but Kyle made me feel right at home. He offered me water, had me take me time getting ready, and was very personable. He made awesome conversation and I enjoyed his company. But even more so, I enjoyed the haircut. After he cut off the donation, he spent about 45 minutes cutting and styling my hair. He admitted he's a perfectionist and an expert at cutting curly hair, which is definitely true! He really took his time to make sure my hair looked good. When he blew it striaght after the cut, it looked as if I had naturally striaght hair - it was thin, shiny, and there was no sign of frizz. It was amazing! I wish he could do my hair for me every day. I VERY HIGHLY recommend him to anyone, and I am definitely going back to him for my next ""regular"" hair cut!
