Review content:
I went to The Wedding Bell in May hoping to put an end to my long and weary search for ""the dress"". We were originally planning a December wedding, but some things came up and our date changed to July. Not much time! No problem for them though. (Good thing to know for all you last minute brides out there) I had been to 4 different stores including David's Bridal and Alfred Angelo. Those big chain stores..... they have gorgeous dresses, I just never found what I was looking for, and so many people go to them, they hardly have much time to focus on just one customer. It was a breath of fresh air walking into The Wedding Bell. After driving past it once because the store-front is quite little, I found a parking spot and thought ""uh oh, I really hope this place is all its cracked up to be...."" and it was! Don't judge a book by its cover because the building is double in length as in width, that's how they fit all those dresses in there! Anyway, I'm getting off track. I went in for my appointment, Ashley listened to what I was looking for and she picked out some dresses close to what I was describing. When a dress didn't quite work, she was honest with me about it, like an old friend. I could talk to her like I could talk to a friend, how cool is that? She didn't let me have time to second guess my first reaction to the dress, which was nice because when its not the dress its not the dress and you shouldn't be worrying about it. What a refreshing concept after trying on hundreds of dresses! She noticed that I seemed to like taffeta, it looked good on me, which was not what I had originally thought at all, I was aiming for something like chiffon. In a fluke move after trying on about 5 dresses, Ashley pulls out a dress that is also taffeta, saying ""This one is taffeta, wanna try?"" I say ""sure, why not, that design might look funny on me though."" We get it on, its a pretty snug fit, we go out the the mirror, I see myself in this dress and I am stunned! We found it! We finally found my dress! I was speechless! When I finally found something to say, all I could get out was ""WOW!"" It flattered my figure so well! And I wasn't drowning in it either! I'm only 5'1"", so it was very hard for me to find something that worked with my petite stature. What sealed the deal was that everybody else in the salon at the time all stopped to look at me, and they all had the same reaction ""wow."" That's when I really knew it was ""the dress"", and she wasn't just trying to sell me something. Thank you Ashley and thank you Wedding Bell for such a wonderful experience! You made my wedding day! Pros: Very helpful, very knowledgable about their products Cons: Its difficult to find if you're not used to Tacoma
