I returned to Green Bay to get married in the city I grew up and booked my hair and make-up appointments at Chameleon. I wanted to make sure that everything would go smoothly on the morning of the ""Big Day"" since we would be pressed for time. I scheduled a practice up-do with my stylist- Am I happy I had a practice. In fact the entire experience led me to draw the conclusion that the women doing my hair was practicing being a hair stylist. I had brought in photos of what I wanted along with a photo of myself with this up-do. I then proceeded to sit in the chair for 2 hours- what I walked away with was terrible. The back combing around the crown of my head was lumpy, the pinning of my hair was so loose that it was falling out by the time I was leaving and frankly what I wanted did not consist of anything more than back combing at the crown and pinning loops at the nape of my neck. Apparently too difficult? I was charged $100 for the practice up-do. I was honestly willing to pay this for a quality up-do. But what I got was terrible and below amateurish. Do NOT go here. It is not worth the headache. Even after contacting the salon to discuss my concerns I was dismissed and offered no alternative solutions. Pros: Facility Cons: Staff and level of service
