Review content:
First time eatint at Cannella's and mine and the gf's experience was a disappointment. The decor and ambiance were amicable. We started our meal with a risotto cake appetizer that was pretty good and the service was friendly. Next came our salad and it was downhill from there. Iceberg lettuce? come on and the balsamic vinaigrette was all oil and a drop of balsamic vinegar, sadly. Next came our pasta, I had the spaghetti with meatballs and the noodles were over cooked and the marinara sauce was way to sweet and the meatballs were flavorless. The gf had the pasta pomodoro and it was completely flavorless and the noodles undercooked. The cooks need a lesson in Al Dente. I had high hopes for this place being that the ambiance was close to perfect for an intimate dinner for two. Were in no rush to try this place again but we will give it another try and hope this bad experience will fade. Pros: Great ambiance, looks like it would have great food Cons: The food was not so great
