Howden Art Gallery is easy to find, great location, but what I really loved is how hospitable and friendly it is. You know the difference between wine tasting where you are made to feel like you don't know anything or the wine tasting where they let you enjoy your own taste and decisions??? It's like that. The owner, Annie, is friendly and doesn't ""look down her nose"" like too many people in the gallery business do. She's real people, supporting real artists that live locally. She put me in touch with an artist whose work I admired so I could have a custom glass piece made. In less than 2 weeks she was calling me to come pick it up. It was amazing! She must really have a good relationship with her artists. The customer service is wonderful!
