Review content:
We found this restaurant by using City Search so I wanted to give a review right away. I had some pretty great expectations from the previous reviews, mine is not quite as favorable. Most reviews mentioned generous portions and fair prices....... The location was easy to find and had plenty of parking and we were able to get a table right away, it was not very busy on a Monday night. I took my wife and two daughters. We started with the Supreme Nachos at $9, and was expecting a $9 Super Nacho like we are used to at other Mexican establishments. The Nachos were tiny, and were gone in just a few minutes. They were good however, just WAY to small for the price. The four dinners we ordered were also quite small in comparison to the competition, in fact I am not sure why other diners had rated the portions generous. With a dinner plates ranging from $9-$14 it at first seemed very fair, but you could say the prices barely cut it for what you get, again in comparison to other establishments. The waitress was very nice, as was the manager / possibly owner. The service was very good. The setting itself was not really nice, but not bad either. It was very clean and comfortable. Dinner for two adults and two kids (14 and 10) with a 20% tip came to a whopping $87.00. Only $20 short of a decent dinner at the Olive Garden, which we would have preferred a million times over. Not going to be one of our favorite places, there are much better Mexican places in town for half the price. The food is good though, the staff friendly, but we joked on the way out that we might need to stop at Taco Time on the way home if we didn't get full.
