I'm afraid I can hardly give this Campground the correct rating, because they don't have a option, quite low enough. Tho, at first, I thought I'd try to be kind, I feel I must tell the truth. The cabin that we stayed in, was in very sad condition. In my opinion it shouldn't be up for rental at all, (possibly, if it were free). It was very dirty and disgusting with little or no extras except a very tiny oven, and microwave. There was only 1 electrical outlet, bunkbeds with mattresses on top of plywood, looking like they were 50 yrs old. There were mouse droppings in living area, and shower, and a burnt out light bulb, in the one room cabin. There was a toilet tho, no toilet tissue, and very sandy floors. We were told that they had left the ac on, but we walked in to a warm cabin. Obviously, there is no housekeeping in Cabin 1. We were in town for a funeral, needing a place to stay for the night, so we rented a cabin with 2 bedrooms, but, upon our arrival we were told that we were instead given one ""where we could have our privacy""! To our dismay the cabin was more shocking than we could have ever imagined. I found myself, laughing hysterical as I have never stayed in such a rundown cabin. Because we have stayed in cabins for less money but, much better shape we were very disillusioned. It somehow reminded me of ""National Lampoon Vacation"". We had to request a key for the cabin, tho, when we did, we were given the wrong key, twice. Suprising enough, neither one worked, so we had to leave the cabin open or be late for the wake. We left it open tho, were fortunate enough to have nothing taken. We will definetly not be back or recommend this to any one, and would rather warn people to stay away. But, our only choice was this campground or a hotel in the area. We heard only good from the guests that stayed there, and they paid half the price we did, so if we're ever in need again, the hotel will be our resting place.
