born and raised in VA i remembered going to friendlys restaurant in williamsburg and my family having so much fun and a great time. recently i had the opportunity to be employed at friendlys in williamsburg, va and the district manager Jae Ward remembered working with my dad decades ago all that being said my opinion has been drastically changed. the attitude mismanagement of cleo donald cleveland and michael is horrible. the employees are stereotyped; if you are a male with an accent you will be washing dishes. if you are a female you will deal with donald attitude and/or sexually suggestive comments, even cleo. micheal and cleveland spend more time microwaving food products arguing and joking with each other then concentrating on kitchen duties. the scheduling of short staffed evening shift includes waitresses brought in from richmond, not enough employees to have a greeter, fountain worker and servers. although there are two truck deliveries every week the restaurant somehow cant keep gloves, bread, lettuce, sauces, dressing, cheese, chicken, cole slaw. i was told in orientation by cleo a 6 or more hour shift you clock out for a 15 and 30 minuted break i was also reminded with the district manager Jae Ward visit soon approaching that i always get a break every shift. yet it became a problem for me to inquire about a 5 minute smoke break when i was working from 5-6p until 2-3a. i was threatened bodily harm by another cook when we got off work, i called 866 209 2796 filed 2 complaints but i was fired because the managers said i couldnt get along with them. although the managers had no problem volunteering me to give employees rides home or to do the tasks others wouldnt. when i called and finally was contacted by Jae Ward he eventually was no help because i couldnt make a appt time that was convenient for him and the hr manager.
