Review content:
actually went to the fleming's that just opened in woodland hills. didn't make reservations (initially told there was a 2 1/2 hour wait ), but greased someone and were seated within 1/2 hour. the decor was typical of an american steakhouse: wood, booths and middle-aged patrons. we were expecting an upscale dining experience, but were sorely mistaken. the crab bisque was creamy, with no crab in it. the lump crab cakes were decent. i ordered the chilean seabass (nicely cooked but with too-sweet broccolini that overpowered everything) while my husband had the filet (ordered medium-well, got completely bloody) and was completely dissatisfied with the QUALITY of meat (we've had better at HOME). our friends had lamb chops (practically rare and completely fatty) and the petit filet (butterflied and over-cooked). even dessert was lack-luster: average gelson's quality cheesecake. the only thing high-end was the bill: $180/couple. completely overpriced for the quality. Pros: lots of wine by glass, nice service Cons: overpriced, average quality steak, mediocre food
