Review content:
Armando has always been -- and still is -- one of the best hair stylists in New York. I've been a faithful client of his for almost ten years, which is the longest relationship that I've had since I moved here. Not my job. Not my boyfriend. Not my shrink. Armando. And, trust me, if I don't like something or someone, I move along. Quickly. Armando (and I've also had my hair cut and colored by Marie, so I add her in the mix here) provides me with something that looks good from the moment I walk out of the salon and can last for months. There have been times when I've forgotten to make appointments because my hair has grown in so beautifully. And color! Their specialty. I had my hair colored for years there, and no one ever thought I was coloring my hair. And, when I decided to let the ""pre-mature"" ;-) gray show, Armando was supportive and made it look amazing.
If you're looking for a place that is low-key, smooth, and provides some of the best styling in NY (wrapped up in the nicest, most talented group of people you'll ever meet), Armando's is your place. You won't be disappointed.
