Review content:
The first time I went to Peachtree Women's Specialists I saw Dr. Knoir. He presented himself as a bit cold and too unapproachable almost as if he was staring down his nose at you. When I scheduled my appointment, I stressed the fact that an ultrasound most likely will be needed because I was having extremely bad pain and infections of all kinds were ruled out. The scheduler disregarded this information and scheduled the appointment outside of the hours for the ultrasound tech so I had to pay a co-pay for a half @$$3d pelvic exam and (after I begged the doctor to test for infection) he said he didn't think it was infection. The nurse took a urine specimen anyway however THREW OUT THE URINE PRIOR TO TESTING IT. For the next two weeks, i was receiving calls to come back in and provide another specimen. I don't work anywhere near the office so that was a no-go. Finally, a month later I came in because of increased pain and (after they finally tested my urine) found that I did have an infection as well as a massive cyst which is now under monitoring. I couldn't believe that so I changed doctors. Now, I see Dr. Roberts who is very professional, easy to talk to and quite friendly. He provides you with information on alternatives to whatever you are seeking (whether it is birth control, etc.) which I really appreciate. If I had to grade him by himself outside of PWS I would give him 10 stars (yes, 10-not 5). He was very sympathetic as well and gave me a lot of good information about measures to get my cyst gone without invasive procedures. The only thing I do have to say is that this office is about money. If they can do half of what they should have done just to bill for more money they will do it. Not a doctor thing, just administrative which I really really do not like. Times are tough and people cannot afford 25-100 co-pays every two weeks because the office failed to do something that should have been done from the jump.
