Review content:
I purchased wood from John, the owner of Bem's for the second time on May 3, 2008. He seemed like a nice young man, and he & his wife just had their third baby girl. I appreciated the quality of the wood he delivered, and thought I finally found the right person to buy my wood from. I paid by check, and wrote it out for cash. I also asked him if he could use an air conditioner and a rower. He took both gladly, and I also threw in two gates that he could use for his children along with two toy chickens for his daughers. I asked him if he could repair my lawn mower, and he took it with him, promising to return it within a week. Well, today is May 27th, and I have left three messages on their phone without a return phone call. I am very dissapointed, and distraught, since I trusted that he would honor his word. I have the feeling that he is evading me, and I wish I knew why. What a shame that a young man with three children is that irresponsible that he cannot even return his customers calls. The lawn mower can always be replaced, but the trust that was destroyed cannot be. I wish him all the best with my lawnmower. Karma will be his. Pros: Unreliable in his word Cons: Brought me good wood
