If you are not White, then do not go here! I am an Asian American and when my family went camping here, we did not know that we would encounter so much hate from the White people. The entire place is full of only white people. They stare at you and cause problems. They are not afraid to yell and complain in your face. My family had three individual site reserved and the white people in the site next to us were not happy about this. They cursed and yelled at us and then the management moved them to a cabin to avoid further conflicts. Talk about special treatment huh? Anyways, that was not the end of it. They were moved close to the shower area where my family would have to go shower. The same trouble makers were yelling at the shower/bathrooms and tell us to not use those showers. They were shared showers for the entire area! She cursed my brother out and banged on the door when we used the showers. When we took our kids to the beach and pool area, the entire place stared at us. They act like they have never seen a group of asian people before! Have they never seen large groups before??? Yes, asian people swim too. We're human. The management couldn't kick the crazy woman that was bothering us the entire trip out because they said she was drunk and they couldn't allow her to get on the road and possibly hurt innocent people. So they did nothing then. She got to stay. Overall, my family enjoyed ourselves because we can't let sheltered white people whom hate minorities ruin our weekend entirely. We stood our ground and focused on the important thing..which was our family time together. I cannot believe that in 2009, with a Black president, people are like this! I would never recommend this place to anyone and will definitely make sure people know about my family's experience here. Stories like this need to be heard so that people don't waste their money here! We stayed in the ""hanger"" part of the campground and it was awful looking. There was a fence, building, and looked like someone's backyard instead of a campground! We could see the entrance road from our spot..it was just footsteps away and we heard cars coming in and out all day and night! The staff patrolled our site all day and night, so there was no sense of privacy either. DON'T GO HERE!!!!! (This site does not allow me to use the *R* word that describes what was happening here. I'm sure you all know that the people were *R****T) Pros: Site Manager available 24/7 Cons: Awful camp sites, Employees patrol too much
