I had a very negative experience at J Cleaners. I had brought a brand new sweater to them to be dry cleaned. I had picked it up and went to wear it a few weeks later, it was very small and had pilers throughout. The sweater had obviously been washed and dryed. When I had brought it to their attention the girl at the desk was very rude and unhelpful. She had directed me to speak with the owner when he comes in. When I spoke with him he seemed surprised at the circumstances and asked me to bring the sweater in. I had brought it in and when I didnt hear back for 2 weeks, I had called him to check on the sweater he was trying to repair. He was very rude to me, did not treat the situation with any bit of customer service and when I asked him what he thought happened to the sweater, he hung up on me. I tried calling back several times and after several rings it would pick up and hang up. Mind you I was the one with the damaged sweater who never even raised a voice to this man. I'm a VERY unsatisfied customer and would NEVER suggest bringing anything into the establishment. I'm a mother of 2 childeren and work full time so my time and money is very important to my family. I work in the community as well, and this is not how you treat people. Never will I do business with Jay again and will make sure all my family and friends know of this as well.
