Review content:
I can still feel the sting of the attitude I received about a year ago while, in post-engagement bliss I picked up the phone to inquire about renting the entire inn out for my wedding guests to stay overnight. We had just booked a restaurant nearby for my wedding reception and I wanted to be diligent about booking all of my vendors early. Finding a beautiful place to stay was top priority. Granted, I called more than a year in advance, (I was excited about my wedding, okay?)... but I was definitely snapped out of my good mood when the man on the other end of the phone line made it clear that he wanted nothing to do with me or my wedding-- he told me flat out NOT to even bother visiting because it ""wouldn't be worth my time"". I felt that he was confrontational without cause and I?m not normally a confrontational person when it comes to a simple inquiry via phone, so I was needless to say, shocked! After explaining to him my situation, I was told that they did not have rates yet for the following year. Which was fine, so I asked that if I was in the area sometime, if I might be able to take a quick tour of the place. At which point I was told flat out, ""No"". And so I asked, ""No, I'm not allowed to stop by sometime to see the Inn?"" And then he yelled, ""No, it wouldn't be worth your time!"" I think we then both simultaneaously hung up the phone. Pros: sounds nice on paper Cons: rejected by phone, never made it to the Inn
